Asexual is when you do not engage in sexual intercourse. You only have one parent which males a clone offspring. This occurs in Bacteria, plants, fungi, and animals. Sexual is when you do engage in sex. You have two parents that create a genetically diverse offspring. Only half of the chromosomes are combines and happens to the same individuals as Asexual reproduction.
Meiosis Vs. Mitosis (READ)
Let us speak about Meiosis and Mitosis for gods sake. They are very important. MITOSIS: is the development of new cells. The phases include, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase. In Prophase the chromatin condenses and coils on itself. It produces thick strands of DNA wrapped around proteins which are chromosomes. The microtubles stay attached and seem like an X on is called a chromatid. In Metaphase the chromatids attach to the microtubles in the middle of the nucleus. Interphase is when the centrosomes and DNA replicate itself to get ready for the split. This is the non-dividing phase. Next is, Anaphase. It is the motor protein that pull apart and chromosomes split back to their individual selves. Lastly, its Telophase. The new cell structures are reconstructed. The division between two new cells is called a cleavage. Now two new cells are produced and each have 46 chromosomes. MEIOSIS: is when a specialized diploid cell splits in half twice in order to create 4 different cells that are different. This includes Prophase 1, Metaphase 1, Anaphase 1, Prophase 2, Metaphase 2, Anaphase 2, and Telophase 2. In Prophase 1 crossover and recombination occurs. Every chromosome is slightly different from its parents. The female is XX the male is XY. Metaphase 1 is when each chromosome line sup to its homologous pair partner that has already swapped a few genes. Then its Anaphase 1 which the homologous pair gets pulled apart and migrate to either end of the cell. Then follows Prophase 2, the DNA clumps up again and the microtubles are put back in place. Next is Metaphase 2, the chromosomes are aligned int he middle of the cell. Anaphase 2 occurs and the chromatids are pulled apart into separate single chromosomes. Finally, it is Telophase 2 and it turns into a cleavage. Haploid cells have half of a full set of chromosomes.
Sloth SEXO!
How do Sloths do it? They mate on trees and give birth while hanging on the trees. "love" starts when a female yells a specific mating call in order to let the male know, that she is ready to mate. The young ones are born with claws and wrap themselves around their mother for nine months after their birth. Female sloths, nurture their newborn for six months. After two weeks of birth, the mother introduces a leafy diet to their little ones. After six months the female sloth leaves its little one with the other sloth species. At this time the young one learns to defend itself and survive the wild environment. If it succeeds then it can live for up to a complete sloth lifespan.(20-40 years) The young one's behavior and basic ethics are influenced by their mother. Even the eating patterns of the young one is similar to that of their mother. The females and males live together in the same tree, during breeding time. Female sloths, often live together, while the male sloths are observed dwelling in different trees.
